Fingerprinting Services

The Department provides fingerprinting services to County residents and employees of County businesses. 

Bring a government issued photo identification card and any fingerprint cards that have been provided to you.

Due to COVID-19, fingerprinting services are being offered by appointment only. You may call the Department at 757-253-1800 during normal business hours to schedule an appointment. You may also schedule online at (external site).

Those coming to the Law Enforcement Center for fingerprinting services should follow CDC guidelines and wear a mask or cloth face covering.


  • $10 for first fingerprint card
  • $5 for additional fingerprint cards
  • We accept check, cash (having exact change is highly recommended) and credit/debit cards (a 2.95% convenience fee will be added to all credit/debit card transactions).
