Get ready for America Recycles Day by taking the first step in sustainable living. Reduce what goes to the landfill by bringing recyclable items to our expo. With the help of our community partners, we will take even hard-to-recycle items. Coastal Virginia Environmental Coatings will be accepting latex paints for recycling and ReStore will also be onsite to accept all of your used furniture, appliances and just about anything else you are looking to get rid of! Additional items accepted at the Jolly Pond Convenience Center for recycling include 20 pound propane tanks, aluminum cans, pie pans and foil, antifreeze, cardboard, electronics, glass bottles and jars, kitchen grease, metal cans/lids, mixed paper, motor oil, plastic bottles, plastic bags, rechargeable batteries, scrap metal, tires and yard debris.
The 7th Annual Litter & Recycling Expo will take place on Oct. 10, 2020, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Warhill High School. Join us for this free annual outreach event!
