Children's Services Act (CSA)

Funds Services Through Family Assessment & Planning Team (FAPT) for High-Risk Youth

The purpose of the act is to provide high-quality, child-centered, family-focused, cost-effective, community-based services to at-risk youth and their families. Children are referred by the Department of Social Services, Colonial Behavioral Health, Williamsburg-James City County Schools, 9th District Court Service Unit, or Peninsula Health District.

The mission of the Williamsburg/James City County FAPT is to collaborate with families and community agencies to link families to effective and efficient services to nurture healthy children in their own community.
